Planted this in Kindergarten, think it’s an orange tree

Yes, it totally does.

Not dead doesn’t mean healthy.

You look to be in your late teens, so if that same plant had been growing outside for a decade, it could easily have been 4 times its current size and produced fruit for several seasons.

Now, I have no idea where you live, but putting it outside on the porch, if you live in a state like florida would be awesome, and you would see it take off and get super happy and healthy.

If you live in Maine, don’t do that. But finding it a way to get more light would make it a much happier plant. Bigger window, more direct light for longer each day, out in a sun room…anything along these lines will help.

It’s awesome that it’s lasted so long, and I don’t mean to discredit your dedication, because keeping a tree like that alive inside for as long as you have is quite a feat. All that said, it totally wants much more light.
