Not dead doesn’t mean healthy.
You look to be in your late teens, so if that same plant had been growing outside for a decade, it could easily have been 4 times its current size and produced fruit for several seasons.
Now, I have no idea where you live, but putting it outside on the porch, if you live in a state like florida would be awesome, and you would see it take off and get super happy and healthy.
If you live in Maine, don’t do that. But finding it a way to get more light would make it a much happier plant. Bigger window, more direct light for longer each day, out in a sun room…anything along these lines will help.
It’s awesome that it’s lasted so long, and I don’t mean to discredit your dedication, because keeping a tree like that alive inside for as long as you have is quite a feat. All that said, it totally wants much more light.
